Time is running so fast lately. The holidays were a complete blur. Since my birthday in November, I feel like the days have been going by at what seems like 3 and a time. I’m not working anymore than I did the year before, and there’s much more on my plate this year with a baby on the way, but man I swear I blinked and Christmas had passed, the New Year came and went, and now we are just a couple weeks away from having our baby join us on this wild ride.Continue reading “All Too Fast”
I’m pregnant. I have been for almost 7 months now. I have to keep reminding myself it’s real because I still can’t seem to wrap my head around it. Continue reading “Two Lines That Changed Everything”
It’s been a freaking while, thats for sure. I started this blog early last year, with all these grand plans to post once, maybe twice a week with something interesting to say each time. I expected to have all this free time to not only sit and write a post, but to take pictures and attach those too – my 3 night a week work schedule, planning an out-of-state wedding, and looking for a house all clearly meant I would have enough free time to actually do this.
Boy was I sooooooooo wrong.
It is 6:30AM here in Arizona, about 52 degrees outside, and the sun is just starting to come up. The last few months have gone by so incredibly fast, and J and I have been so busy trying to get our work routines down pat – we’re getting there.
To be totally honest.. I really don’t like traveling alone. I don’t enjoy getting to the airport, checking my bags, and waiting to board my flight by myself. I like being there with someone else, especially with J. He makes things look so easy and he really eases my anxiety. Continue reading “Travel Essentials”
To be perfectly honest, it is hard to move back home. I love my family – I really missed being around them. How can it be so hard to move back with the people you love?? It all comes down to my routine, trying to adapt it to the environment here at home. Continue reading “First Week Back at Home”
I love coming home. Sure, it can get a little stressful as I am used to my routine at school, and everyone at home has their own routine. One thing for sure, having a big dinner together is something I will always love.
Back in January, my fiancé and I made a trip out to Arizona – I was on winter break, and he had some to-dos to complete for his new job. It was a mini break and we got to enjoy the cooler weather, while escaping the freezing temperatures back home.
I had the best surprise of my life this past week in Arizona.. I GOT ENGAGED!!! What was first supposed to be a relaxing week to unwind from a stressful couple of days of school, turned into something that I get to remember for the rest of my life, and I could not be more excited. Continue reading “He Put a Ring on It!”
I’ve wanted to start a blog for quite some time now. I really am not much of a writer, but I like to share whats on my mind now and then, and I feel that this is the perfect platform. I watched how my sister and her husband fell in love with taking pictures and writing about their adventures, and I too have fallen in love the whole idea of it. What’s important to me is that I am doing this for me – and I could not be more excited. Continue reading “It’s Only the Beginning”
